How Technology Has Created Quick Translation Services

From the invention of the first mobile phone to contactless payment systems, evolutions in technology have made our daily lives, not only easier, but quicker too. Whereas in the past, the world relied solely on paper communications, the world has now gone truly digital – opening up opportunities for collaboration and innovation worldwide.

With the increasing online activity around the world, both businesses and individuals have benefited from increased communication; whether it’s video-chatting with your family who live abroad or holding conference calls with potential business partners. As a well-established translation provider, the team here at Absolute Translations have seen how evolving technology has changed the landscape and enabled translators to provide better services.

In 2001, Absolute Translations was founded by a single translator speaking four languages. Over the last twenty years, our business has grown from strength to strength, providing over 200 languages with our quick translation services. Alongside a dedicated client-base who regularly rely on our services, we believe our growth is thanks to improving translation technology.

How Translation Technology Is Used By Translators

Since our beginnings in the 2000s, it has been our priority to build flawless systems and processes to ensure the translation process is carried out efficiently. We don’t believe in machine translations to provide quick translation services. Instead, we use the latest translation technology, SDL Trados, to create a folder with all the translations completed for each client. By creating a translation memory per brand, our translation team is able to keep track of specific terminology, update translation guidelines and avoid duplicated content.

Following the implementation of this sophisticated translation technology, we have been recognised for our achievements in this area. In 2019, we received the award for the System Assets Creator of the Year following our pioneering work under the translation specific ISO 17100 certification.

The Benefits of Translation Technology

Translation technology allows for quick translation services and communication between our global offices.

Over the past two decades, we established a number of offices around the world including London, Spain, France and Germany. Translation technology has allowed our teams worldwide to work together with clear communication and reduced human errors.

Technology allows our customers to save up to 70% on translations.

As we discussed above, our translation system allows for us to keep a record of each client’s specific requirements and details. As a result, our team is already well-established with your brand – ensuring they complete the translations easier. Therefore, we are able to charge less for your translations.

Translation technology guarantees a quicker turnaround.

By implementing this efficient system, we are able to provide quick translation services. In fact, we can even provide a same-day service should you require it.
